To begin with we had a group meeting and discussed what needed to be done, we handed in our individually/group storyboards (6 drawn each). We then split into two groups Sam and Ryan proceeded to go into the computer room and search for locations we could shoot at because our original idea of filming at my dads office work fell through because we were not allowed to. They came back with the c0oncept of us filming in a church which would give a real, gritty effect to our film, they then proceeded to contact churches and got a refusal from a Greek church, they asked Mr Grimsley to contact Is local church in Lewisham and this is where we are going to be shooting for our film.
Meanwhile Tolga and me proceeded to compare the storyboard and fill in the details some group member missed such as camera angle shots/duration of shot. We then coloured the storyboards in to establish a good effect and make them look more professional. We then grabbed a camera and took still shots of each storyboarded shot and created an animatic video of our title sequence, which along with scanned images of our storyboards is posted above this post
During Wednesdays lesson me and Tolga had an exams, so the only other thing which we needed to find was the music for our sequence so Sam and Ryan went onto a copyright free website and found a perfect piece of music for our title sequence called “princes at the tower” which I will discuss in more detail in a later post. Finally on the Fridays lesson we decided who would gain access to each prop we needed, I would locate a (toy gun) ad Ryan would gain access to a briefcase.
